Announcement (A) Series Passport
As instructed by the Directorate of passports, A new process is going to be adopted regarding the application for the new (A) series passport starting from the date: 1st Feb , 2010 and as follows:
1. The (G) series passport application form is no longer valid . 2. The applicant should fill in the electronic form on the website shown below : www.iraqinationality.gov.iq
3. The applicant himself / herself should apply for the passport , and the following documents should be enclosed with the electronic from :
A. Two colour photocopies of the national identity card . (An indentity card issued 10 years prior to the date of application will not be accepted, An identity card without a photograph or a worn out card likewise ) . B. Two colour photocopies of the Iraqi Nationality Certificate (A worn out certificate will not be accepted). C. Four recent (White background) photographs. D. Two photocopies of the previous passport. E. The fee for the issuance of the passport should be paid in cash, with an A/37 Receipt. F. Two colour photocopies of the father's Iraqi Nationality certificate should be enclosed, regarding dependants under 12 years of age (Who does not hold this certificate).
